A small airplane that made an emergency landing in a field Wednesday afternoon near Fremont Elementary School in Carson City was moved for tow to nearby Saliman Road, across from the school.
The pilot and passenger were not hurt in the emergency landing. There was no school Wednesday for Veterans Day.
